The only clue is that Spoiler: the snake in the background next to the spot is black, whereas all the other background snakes are white.

Time was over 20 hours, thanks to getting lost in the Gate of Illusion. And Chamber of Birth being Chamber of Birth.

On the plus side, Hell wasn't as intolerable as in the original, where you'd have to redo it at least 2 times (to get each kind of medicine), or get a stupid high score on a Gradius clone that crashes after the first level...


Now to do it all within 10 hours. (Yeah, right!)
