I love my jammie pants.
They have obnoxious flowers on them, I feel like wallpaper from the '70s
what are your pajamas of the moment, and do you love them? if you came here from my journal, I expect you to post here too so GET TO IT Most amazing jew boots |
My pajamas are a huge blanket that I wind about myself like a big ol' burrito and so I know it's time to get up when my burrito wrapper is sufficiently loose to allow my limbs to escape.
Yeah it's summer and I crank the AC all the way up and then it's too fucking cold so I sleep with a blanket I'm that guy There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Oh man, I used to be that guy, but my current bedroom doesn't have proper air circulation, so I can't get all cozy under the blankets in the summer.
But yeah, I don't wear pajamas. Sure, I wear some cotton shorts and a t-shirt around the house, but I'm terribly uncomfortable if I'm wearing clothes under the covers. I toss and turn a lot, and clothes (especially shirts) get all tangled up. Can't say I remember ever owning a pair of pajamas, except maybe when I was really little. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
All but one of my pajamas are old sweatpants that I've had since middle school, or were hand-me-downs from my older brother. I am rather indifferent to them.
The remainder are old navy velour pants for those evenings I wish to maintain my tuck all night. My love for them is arguably excessive for simple pajamas. Finally, I would not, but I would look askance at you. As an aside, is anyone else sick of this naming convention for pants? (trousers for those over the pond) I don't think anyone has owned, much less worn (aside from ren-faire goers) two piece leg garments for centuries. Fuck historical naming conventions that don't reflect present reality in any way. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Honestly, I rarely wear a shirt to bed. SOMETIMES I'll wear pyjama pants (hospital pants are actually ridiculously comfortable) if it's really cold, otherwise I'll wear a pair of light shorts. I never used to like it, but more recently, I've started going to sleep wearing nothing at all
nothing at all nothing at all nothing at all nothing at all Spoiler:
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I used to just sleep in whatever I was wearing that day. Even with jeans. o.o'
I don't move around a whole lot when I sleep so it wasn't an issue. However years progressed on and I got myself some proper set of sleepwear. I'd always love to sleep in a cold room with a quilt. I grew to hate any other kind of blanket. Quilts are awesome for being the great inbetween for winters and summer. And not so lumpy like comforters after several washes and etc. And I wear socks to bed nearly 95% of the time if I was wearing them already. I have no idea where I pick this up actually, but I do hate my feet getting cold and the feel of being tucked in too close at the end of the bed. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Boxers, thats generally it. Pajamas are too confining.
How ya doing, buddy? |

I wear scrub pants and a tank top to bed. They are cool and comfortable.
