OturanSama's Anime UltraStar Karaoke Files
:: OturanSama's Anime UltraStar Karaoke Files ::
I decided to share some of my Anime UltraStar karaoke files with those of you who love anime and love to sing.
--------------------------------------------------------------- Song #001 Only My Railgun from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun by fripSide (Opening #1) Melody is lowered one octave for male voice. UltraStar Files Melody and karaoke track :: MediaFire--------------------------------------------------------------- :: Song Index :: Spoiler:
:: Request Queue :: Spoiler:
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I am intrigued with this. What sort of material do you need to make a song karaoke?
Does the program work with Advanced Substation (ASS) files as a foundation? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Hmm... I might have to take you up on this one. I know quite a few people who'll want a version of Bakemonogatari's Renai Circulation OP theme that males could sing to.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. My spheres of activity:

To create the files you need to create a midi file of the melody, assign the corresponding lyrics to each note, then convert that into a ultrastar text file and clean it up. I use Cubase to sequence the midi file, a free program called Karakan to add the lyrics to the midi file, UltraStar's built-in editor to convert the midi to a text file, notepad to manually enter the line breaks, and the finally UltraStar's editor again to edit the file a bit. All in all it takes quite a bit of time from start to finish; usually around 2-3 hours minimum. Answering your question though, a video subtitle file (srt/ass/...) wouldn't really be of any help. lol, I remember having to create those annoying scripts when I was a timer/styler/editor for several fansub groups long long ago.
--------------------------------------------------------------- Song #002 Daybreak's Bell from Gundam 00 by L'Arc-en-Ciel (Opening #1) Have fun with all those high falsetto Cs, Bs, and As ^^ UltraStar Files Melody and karaoke track :: MediaFire--------------------------------------------------------------- Song #003 LEVEL5 -judgelight- from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun by fripSide (Opening #2) --------------------------------------------------------------- I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Song #004
Link from the Fullmetal Alchemist Movie by L'Arc-en-Ciel (Opening #1) This is probably my favorite song to sing at the moment. I hope you enjoy all those high Bs and Cs as much as I do... UltraStar Files Melody and karaoke track :: MediaFire--------------------------------------------------------------- Here are the original vocal versions of the four songs above. * To use these simply go to the /Audio/ folder for the particular song, rename the file in there to something else and copy this one to that folder. 001 - fripSide - Only My Railgun 002 - L'Arc~en~Ciel - Daybreak's Bell 003 - fripSide - LEVEL5 -judgelight- 004 - L'Arc~en~Ciel - Link ...I will include the vocal versions with any future uploads. --------------------------------------------------------------- I was speaking idiomatically. |
Song #003
LEVEL5 -judgelight- from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun by fripSide (Opening #2) VERSION 2.0 :: I fixed a ton of rhythmic errors in this version and replaced the audio files UltraStar Files UltraStar Text File, Graphics, and Folders :: Mediafire AUDIO FILES Original Vocal Version :: MediaFireSimply copy the one you wish to use into the /Audio/ folder (in the song folder) and rename it to : "fripSide - LEVEL5 -judgelight-.mp3"--------------------------------------------------------------- What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
This actually seems pretty awesome. I'll give it a try a little later, though admittedly I don't know any of the songs you've posted so far (I watch anime, but I'm not really up to date on what's popular nowadays).

Song #005
Sakurabito from Bleach by SunSet Swish (Ending #21) If you have a medium or low voice this song probably isn't for you. UltraStar Files UltraStar Text File, Graphics, and Folders :: Mediafire AUDIO FILES Original Vocal Version :: MediaFireSimply copy the one you wish to use into the /Audio/ folder (in the song folder) and rename it to : "Sunset Swish - Sakurabito.mp3"---------------------------------------------------------------
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Well, two of my favorite anime theme songs are Soul Taker by JAM Project (the opening theme to The SoulTaker) and Love Song by Tomoko Tane (the ending theme to Gasaraki). Either one of those would be awesome.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
EDIT: It seems you can't do duets in UltraStar, but I think it will sound fine arranged as a single melody. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Awesome, can't wait. I tried out the first song you posted and I was terrible as expected (nothing against the song or anything, I'm just completely unfamiliar with it, and unlike an English song I'm unfamiliar with it's pretty hard to wing it with a song in Japanese), but it was still fun to try out and learn the program.

Song #006
Soultaker from Soultaker by Jam Project (Opening #1) Requested by Rockgamer; I hope you have a high voice. ^^ UltraStar Files UltraStar Text File, Graphics, and Folders :: Mediafire AUDIO FILES Original Vocal Version :: MediaFireSimply copy the one you wish to use into the /Audio/ folder (in the song folder) and rename it to : "JAM Project - SOULTAKER.mp3"--------------------------------------------------------------- I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
But yeah, I think you did a great job with the song. I definitely had fun with it, and I did pretty good on it (7020 playing on Easy), though there's room for improvement on my part. Keep up the good work! I was speaking idiomatically. |
Glad you liked it !
7020 is pretty good for just starting out on a song. I'm usually in the ~5000s for songs I am familiar with when starting out. Then usually I can get to ~8000s only after a few days of singing the song. I think I've only ventured into the 9000s a few times. I'm sort of envious of all these Japanese singers and their high voices... EDIT: After trying I realized this song is way too high for me to sing. I would probably need to drop it a major third to be able to sing those high sections with any sort of feeling. How ya doing, buddy? |
Song #007
Renai Circulation from Bakemonogatari by Kana Hanazawa (Opening #4) Requested by zzeroparticle... There are probably a lot of pitch errors in the parts where she was singing fast (or quiet) so I may release a v2. This song was a pain to transcribe... UltraStar Files UltraStar Text File, Graphics, and Folders :: Mediafire AUDIO FILES Original Vocal Version :: MediaFireSimply copy the one you wish to use into the /Audio/ folder (in the song folder) and rename it to : "Kana Hanazawa - Renai Circulation.mp3"--------------------------------------------------------------- FELIPE NO |
Song #008
LAST SNOW by Matsushita Yuuya ...not from an anime but a good song none the less. This song is less demanding on the voice than many of the other male songs I've been uploading lately; all in all a nice relaxing song to sing. He sings the ending to the anime Durarara!! as well. UltraStar Files UltraStar Text File, Graphics, and Folders :: Mediafire AUDIO FILES Original Vocal Version :: MediaFireSimply copy the one you wish to use into the /Audio/ folder (in the song folder) and rename it to : "Matsushita Yuya - LAST SNOW.mp3"--------------------------------------------------------------- What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
* loses interest in things too quickly...
I closed my YouTube Account, and I will probably not make these anymore. I will leave the UltraStar files up though (at least until MediaFire deletes them) in case any of you still stumble across thread and want to try these out. I sort of lost interest in merely transcribing the songs and want to get more into perhaps arranging them into piano and English vocal versions. I will start another thread when (or if ???) I start arranging songs. Here are the Midi Karaoke *.KAR files I created in the process of making these files in case any of you are interested and know what to do with these things. Download :: MediaFireSinging Tutor Duet is a nice little program I've found for using these KAR files to learn new songs; if you are interested you might want to download the demo from their website or search for a warez copy.
