Softwares to record music from websites?
Hi
Can you guys recommend a good software to record music from websites? (this is not from YouTube) I believe it's a flash file that's playing the music. Also, isn't music files from browsers stored somewhere in a temp map...? Jam it back in, in the dark.
Thanks to Fjordor for the funny image!

Well, if the music is in a flash file, what you need is a flash decompiler. Usually once you've unpacked the flash the music is just an ordinary mp3 and there's no recording necessary.
Flash Probe will probably serve your needs. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Downloadhelper should be able to find most media files and download them, including those that are played from Flash players. As for actual Flash files, you'd have to do what Pang said.
Any chance you can show us the website in question? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It's this website:
Karaoke - Move Along - The All-American Rejects I'm just trying to get the samples since I can't find the full instrumental versions. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Hi again
I have another question. What softwares can be used to record the sounds/music that's coming out of your speakers? Music can be from a browser or music application. FELIPE NO

You can use a program such as Audacity or Cool Edit to record sound that is being played from by computer's sound card. However, if you have an onboard sound card it may not be worth it, as noise from the components, especially the hard drive, will leak in and dirty the sound.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I used dbpower amp for years. if you have a creative sound card they make it easy for you buy labeling it "what u hear"
I'm sure audition can do it, but might be more complex than dbpoweramp. I'm not sure if the new version of dbpoweramp has the tool i use though. i use version 11 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Isn't dbpower amp only for CD-ripping...?
Music that I want is usally from websites and musicsoftwares that plays streaming music. Example here is Spotify. Most amazing jew boots

Orbit Downloader's "Grab++" feature can download quite a lot of streaming music.
