a woman's emotions
I went through my very first relationship recently (beginning and end...).
I have discovered a lot about women. Are all of women's emotions manipulated by their biological structure? i.e. woman: "Oh my, I love you so much! You are the most awesome person in the world! The only way I would ever break up with you is if you had sex with another women." man: "Really?" __1 HOUR LATER__ man: "You are breaking up with me?" woman: "Yes. I don't understand; what is the big deal?" man: *speechless* Joseph Jam it back in, in the dark. |
They can be, but a man's emotions can also be manipulated by a biological structure in the same way. Unless you're doing something intimate with a woman, then no, anatomy plays no part whatsoever.

What about the cycles?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Dude, she just doesn't like you anymore. Move on.
How ya doing, buddy? John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD. |

I know, but does this happen every time?
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Just when they don't like you anymore.
Move on. One bitch, a million faces. You'll get over her. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD. |

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

High School Sucks. How ya doing, buddy? |
Christ, you're still in high school?
Man, go watch some Spongebob and calm the fuck down. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Hahahaha, you have to give him credit though, he did sum it up nicely so we wouldn't have to read more than we had to, to derive the same conclusion.
Ah, for my relevant input. Judging by your reply, I'm assuming it isn't taking on some sort of huge life changing effect in your life, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Enjoy your experiences in highschool and just take those relationship dealies as they come along, don't let it slow down your personal growth by clinging onto them. I don't think you're asking about womens' emotions. I think you're asking about girls' emotions.
It's high school. Very rarely does a healthy relationship survive for more than at few years out of high school. Don't take it so seriously. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

I hear that all women will be required by law to wear mood rings visibly on their person by the year 2009.
And yeah, I think you're actually asking less about women and more about high-schoolers. How ya doing, buddy? |

Well let's be fair, as a dude who just go through his first relationship, he's probably not thinking rationally. I mean, he's extrapolating an entire gender's behavior based on one relationship.
okay, joseph, the simple answer is yes. A woman's emotions are governed by their biological structure, because that's what emotions are. Reactions driven by hormones. You're the same way, even if you don't think so. There's meat in her skull just as much as there is in yours. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and remember that no one likes bitterness so relax a little. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

As people have said, it's fairly normal.
My first girlfriend was 'totally in love with me' at first. About a month later, she had a friend handing me a note (because she couldn't do it herself) basically saying, 'Sorry, I don't love you.'. She was young, and so was I. So a mature relationship we certainly did not have. Yes, at THAT time it hurt a lot, but looking back (highsight is so 20/20) I realize that there wasn't much substance there, and that was fairly normal at that time (as it was rarely the case that a high school continued out of high school. I can only think of one couple). She cointinued the process with several guys, which is honestly quite normal (from what I have heard) at that age. Just move on. Focus your energy on something else for a while. Hey, look at the bright side...even if just a little while at least she proved you could have a girl friend. Now, use that confidence to continue on with things. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Find the light & stay in it, if you don't youre gonna get hurt. How ya doing, buddy? |
Highschool girlfriends are a joke. It's basically 'hi, your my girlfriend, lets hold hands and make out and make a big public show of it and possibly have ex'. I've rarely saw a relationship in highschool where the couple stayed together more than a few months. I can count on one hand the number of couples that were couples in grade 12, that are still couples today. I avoided relationships in highschool for that reason. I had a girlfriend in grade 12, because I found someone mature enough not to treat the relationship as some kind of social status (naturally, you wouldn't have much if you considered going out with me, but that's besides the point). My advice is this. Try the waters if you must. Paddle around in a rowboat to see what there is. But don't set sail in the big ship till you've seen enough of the ocean to know what you're dealing with.
