Outputting a window to video

So I want to record some ROM gameplay direct from the emulator to video on my computer (AVI, WMV, MOV, whatev). Does anyone know of a program for this purpose?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

You have two options:

1st) Your emulator has that option inside

2nd) Use camtasia recorder and choose the window zone you want to record.

PS: Does FRAPS give any help here? I think it just runs with directX games >_>

There's nowhere I can't reach.

FRAPS captures all OpenGL / DirectX output; you might be able to get fraps to capture it depending on your emulator and it's settings.

Ignore the camtasia suggestion, CamStudio is free / open source

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
