BIOS administrator password on laptop

I have a Dell laptop that a friend wants to sell me but he lost his administrator password for the BIOS. I can't even start this thing up WITHOUT it. What's a good way to flash the BIOS on a laptop without a floppy drive so that it resets the administrator password?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm guessing you'd have to open the laptop and, either, remove the CMOS battery or find out if there is a jumper to reset the BIOS.

I would try emailing Dell to find out if either is a possibility. They might even have a diagram if you're lucky.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Long shot, but does "DELL" work?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well... I already have the thing in pieces but I have no clue where the CMOS battery is. Another thing is that it doesn't seem to HAVE a battery anywhere in sight. My only option would be a...

... yeah... diagram... Problem is that Dell doesn't just hand out diagrams to people who email them and as far as they're concerned, I'm the owner of a nice silver-colored doorstop. :/
