Well.. yet another problem this time...
Aaaah, well now I solved the Windows problem which I wrote the previous thread...
Anyway, this time is kinda wierd situation. I took my USB CD and put in my DVD-rom, after 3-4 sec. when it automatically booting up, my computer just suddenly turning off. I am wondering if the problem lies on the CD-rom + computer, since when it's booting up, it automatically finding the USB drive or something and I think when the computer finds the USB hardware is the cause of not enough power to my computer or something? I am not sure how to explain it, but... I think there is something connection of my theory... or... I am wrong? It would be awesome if you guys can help me this last problem... I think... Cheers! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
From what I could understand, what you did was you disconnected your External CD-ROM drive, and put in your internal DVD-ROM drive, correct?
And now the problem is that every time you start up, the computer shuts down after 3-4 seconds? There's nowhere I can't reach. WALK WITH THE DREAMERS,

No no... it's like everytime I put my CD of the USB driver on my DVD-rom, the DVD-rom automatically booting up and after 3-4 sec. it automatically turning my computer off, and it happens during when I am using the Windows.
Sorry, I shouldn't mix CD-rom and DVD-rom since I don't have any CD-rom, so sorry... I wrote it in the morning so I was kinda daft... This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
So the problem is that after you put a cd into the drive, it reads the cd, then turns off the computer?
Have you checked to see if the power supply may have gone bad, or if any of the connections have become loose? I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? WALK WITH THE DREAMERS,

Yep, that is correct!
I think my power supply gone bad perhaps... that is what I thought at the beginning, but I will try to check it out when I am going to unplug some of the hardware stuff I got inside on my computer, so I will give you a answer soon... Cheers! Most amazing jew boots |
Check the event viewer.
Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Event Viewer Check System or Application. Look for Errors. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Wow, I found some errors and those warning icons, and what is that supposed to mean?

FELIPE NO |
There nothing in the logs. So windows is not the culprit.
So you have a conflict of resources or a funky power supply. My money is now on the mobo resources. Check your BIOS. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Hmm, I will try to check out the BIOS first before I am going to buy a new powersupply.
Anyway, what should I check out on my BIOS? is there something I should be aware of configurating in there? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
