ZoneAlam not loading, little virtual memory, slow computer, help needed!

Yesterday I removed a few things from the list of programs in ZoneAlarm.
Now I'm having a little of trouble, I'm not sure if this is because of what I did yesterday.
To begin with when I start up Windows XP, first I see my desktop background, but Windows takes forever to start up (takes forever before the icons on the desktop appears).
Then I get a message that I should wait while ZoneAlarm are intalizing, I have the option to click Cancel and exit ZoneAlarm.
The thing is, the message disappers, and reappears again, without ZoneAlarm loading. I can't load it either by running it from the start menu.
I also get a message that I have little virtual memory. In general things takes long to do.
I've got about half my C: HD free, other HD is fill about 3/4, but that disk is by itself, so it shouldn't be it.
I've got 2Ghz, and 512 in RAM.
I think I've messed up when changing in ZoneAlarm...
Any suggestions of what to do?
I can also mention that below the power switch there is one lamps shining, one green (which I guess is normal) and the other below the green one is red.

Depending on how many other programs you have running, 512MB of RAM may be too little for it to boot and operate quickly. If you open task manager, check out how many processes are running and how much memory you have free. Some simple deduction will tell if the computer is struggling or not to get up and running when turned on.

As for your issue with Zone Alarm, try undoing the changes you made to see if that makes it load properly. If it doesn't, reinstalling it should take care of things.

The issue has been solved, used a backup.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
