Video card problem

Geforce 6200

My current card is Geforce FX5500.

The problem: The 6200 eats my resources alive. What it does it it revs up and down(for example, CPU usage fluctuates - 12% -> 38%, 12% -> 38%). Also these tiny blacklines show up and my computer will sometimes shut off, due to infinite looping.

I've updated the drivers, I've disabled the 5500 and the intergrated card that came with the computer(though the 5500 is not physically removed from the board). I have to renable the 5500 cause the 6200 was causing too many problems. That was a chore in itself but it's hard to explain.

My power supply is 250W, and my AGP aperture has a max of 256(but I just found out about it, and it was set to 128). I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My fucking computer sucks ass I hate this thing.

You have two video cards in your system, as well as onboard graphics, and you only have a 250W PSU?

That, and you're not the only one with these symptoms.
My fiance's family is having the same problem. I'm currently trying to figure this one out.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, I'm afriad to physically remove my 5500, cause if the 6200 wont work, I will not be able to use my monitor. But if you're suggesting that the card still pulls power despite it being disabled in the Device Manager, then I didn't know that either.

But that's ok. I'm done with PC gaming. I just bought a 360 >_>.
