new RPG games
How's it going? I've been busy with real life matters with no time for fun and games so I'd appreciate it if you guys could maybe fill me in on what recently released RPGs are worth a purchase. What would you consider RPG of the year?
Thank you. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Oh god, you're back? How many times can we tell you to leave?
How ya doing, buddy? John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD. |
So Xenosaga III is pretty much the RPG of the year as far as I'm concerned. It's probably way over your head though, on account of it having a lot of text. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. I didn't say I wouldn't go fishin' with the man.
All I'm sayin' is, if he comes near me, I'll put him in the wall. |
I had to edit his post just to make him look smarter than he actually is. Xenosaga 3 is pretty high up there if you don't mind the retarded censorship of the game. Suikoden 5 is good if you don't mind long load times. Tales of the Abyss is a game with lovable characters and plenty of replay value.
Any of those would work. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Nice edit Miles, I had a look at this before and couldn't understand what it was that he was trying to ask.
As for RPG of the Year, then I'd have to go with Oblivion. Sure it may be power hungry and a bit slow in some parts, but overall it is a worthwhile investment. You will be surprised as to how much they have fit into the game. If you don't want to follow the main quest line, there are plenty of other things to be doing. Well worth a play. I was speaking idiomatically. |
The RPGs I've had the most fun with in recent years is Tales of Symphonia and FFXII. You can't go wrong with them.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
FELIPE NO The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
I'm really so sorry guys
fst, thanx for editting my message and i've been really since i've started university (god! how much must read yeat?!), believe, freshmaen suffer! What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I don't want to rag on this thread, but at the university level, I hope you don't actually write like how you type, because well, you're going to find it tough. I mean, I'd understand if perhaps you're studying aboard from Asia or other non-English speaking countries and have come to a United States post-secondary education institution to further your CV.
And for the thread, I'm going with the somewhat underappreciated Valkyrie Profile 2. I'll say hands down it is the most beautiful RPG I've seen on the PS2. Furthermore, the battle system is anything but a drag. I actually never lost motivation to play this game as versus FFXII. Final Fantasy XII also gets my vote. You can tell of the high production values (it is a FF game, after all), and some thought put into the battle system, despite it sometimes getting to be a drag.
