biscuits

I LOVE BISCUITS!!!

I especially like the ones at KFC, anyone else here like them?
I try to make biscuits at home, and they turn out like crust. I search for some recipes on the internet and they all say that they are the original KFC biscuit recipe. Then I make the recipe, and it turns out like crust. Does anyone have a excellent recipe I could use? And I am not overmixing them or anything, I am pretty sure its just the recipe and not me

Yeah, I like those kind of biscuits. Ones from KFC and Pillsbury biscuits are great with some butter.

The biscuits at KFC, or PFK, are good but are very plain to me. My second favorite biscuits come from Popeye's Chicken, but my my favorite comes from Red Lobster, which I don't go to often; so I settle for Popeye's biscuits the most.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Don't you have to add some butter to them before you make them so they don't turn out like crust? At least, that's what someone in my family told me.

OH GOD I'M ADDICTED TO BISCUITS.

This is all Texas' fault. I never ate biscuits until I came here, and then they're everywhere here T_T. It's a terrible thing to get addicted to. The ones they make here at the school are surprisingly wonderful, as are the ones from KFC.

How ya doing, buddy?

You all mean those sort of savoury things that you dip in gravy, right? Where I'm from, biscuit doesn't mean that. Personally I love biscuits, but the kind that we get here. Over here, the word means something similar to "cookie", and I'm not sure, but I don't think we get the American kind of "biscuit" round these parts.

Tsk, tsk, tsk... backward Brits... <3

As far as fast food biscuits go, I love KFC's, but I love Church's biscuits more. They have a coating of honey or something... absolutely delicious.

Also, one of the few Southern food practices I'm guilty of is eating biscuits with sausage gravy.

"Savoury things"......that's why I love British English.
I love the kind of biscuits you're talking about, too. It's too bad you don't have the American kind as well, though. They're so good.
Of course, I think they taste nasty with gravy (not a gravy fan). I just eat biscuits with milk. It's the best thing for breakfast!

I adore biscuits. I like buying the Pillsbury ones that come in the can. Except those cans freak me out, because there's that seamed carboard that you have to pop. I used to enjoy popping them, but for some reason now it scares the shit out of me and I have to stand back and throw something at them.

I'm such a fucking loser

That reminds me of one day when I left a can of biscuits out in the warm kitchen. Well, the can ended up exploding and biscuits flew everywhere... one ended up flying straight up and getting stuck in the ceiling.

In fact, there's a biscuitprint on the ceiling to this day.

We really are backwards in the ways of Fast Food. We have KFC outlets, but they don't serve any kind of biscuit that I know of. I'll have to try some, when I'm over there next. Recommendations for likely biscuit vendors of excellence in the NYC area are welcome...

I typically only have biscuits when ordering fried chicken at KFC or Popeye's. I haven't had any from Pillsbury, so I don't know the difference between the two. They give honey in restaurants for the biscuits, but I usually only add some butter.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I enjoy biscuits. I believe they compliment most chicken or pork dinners. Yes, the ones at KFC are quite nice. However, I prefer the store-bought biscuits that have layers. It's not that I like peeling off the layers, I just think that the consistency, the feel, and the taste (with butter, of course) make it a better biscuit.

I love biscuits too.

Except for 'Nice' biscuits, as the name is blatent false advertising. They should really be called 'Terrible'.

I love those things (especially with grave or butter.. or both!), as long as the person making them doesn't make it taste like chalk. It happened once but I try to think about it when eating them.

pssst. Hey Infernal, the crazy americans are talking about these things:
