I'm having a problem with my laptop
Okay, my laptop works fine and everything when it's plugged in, but whenever it's not it just stops working. It just completely turns off if I unplug it while it's on, and it won't turn on at all if I try to to turn it on while it's unplugged.
I'm thinking this has something to do with the battery, but it seems to be working okay. The computer says that it's fully charged, and it looks perfectly fine. It's brand new,as it came with the laptop, which is only about three or four months old. So can anyone help me out with this? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I'm likely to bet that there battery itself is fine, but the problem lies in the computer connection that charges and absorbs battery power. It happens to laptops occassionally. If it's under warranty (I assume it is, given the age), send it to your manufacturer, as there's nothing you can really do.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Well, I have an extended warranty with the store (Best Buy), so I should be able to take it there first, right? I'd rather do that first instead of shipping it to HP, since I would be without it longer if I did that.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Yeah, you should be able to without a problem. Harass the geek squad while you're there too.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
