keyboard lag in games
so i've got a lot of trouble with keyboard lag in games such as unreal tournament 2004, battlefield 2, and others, in which my keystrokes seem to stick for awhile, or there's just a general delay of response.
my system is a dell inspiron 6000 with 1.86 ghz, 1 gb ram, plenty of hd space, 128 mb ati radeon mobility x300; on these games the graphics settings are set near or at their lowest values, so graphical lag never occurs (in the absence of keyboard lag). is there any way to get this working? Jam it back in, in the dark. |

no, this is just the normal laptop keyboard (which doesn't lag at all in other games that don't require steady keyboard presses, like civ 4, or galactic civilizations 2, or sims 2)
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I've had this same problem with lots of games. It happens with my mouse occasionally, as well.
For some games I'm able to fix the problem by turning the settings down, but others it'll happen no matter what (even if I'm running on lowest settings on a game that I had no problems playing on my old 1ghz T-bird). Most amazing jew boots |
