As much as I love some of my friends, I hate seeing movies with them at the cinema. Mystic River was completely ruined for me as they found the whole thing mighty hilarious when I was actually impressed with what I was seeing (I was in year 10 at the time, but still). They pissed off the entire cinema too with their laughing. They also tainted Prisoner of Azkaban for me, though I also hated the first two films so I forgive them for thinking I might hate the third as well. But I greatly enjoyed it - probably in spite of them. At least they can appreciate that now, and I think they like it too.
However, watching Die Another Day with said friends was a hilarious experience. We gave that movie so much shit it wasn't funny (and all of the zingers weren't funny - when Jinx almost drowns someone said "Water way to go!"). So yeah, the wrong film with the right people is great.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
