I'm sorry. I just can't put 'darkness' and 'teenage mutant ninja turtles' in the same sentence. It's too weird. They're turtles. I understand the whole campy feel and tongue-in-cheek humor that's been associated with the movies and cartoon (I haven't read the comics, though), but ...I dunno.
The trailer just comes off as something that's trying to be cool with a hint of humor at the very end. The final product will probably change my views on this, but eh. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
