[Anime] The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

It was kind of hard to keep up with all the subtitles on screen at once. The main character likes to provide voice-over over dialogue, which would be cool if I knew Japanese and could listen and read at the same time.

But that's really my only complaint with this series. I watched the first three episodes last night and I'm already addicted as hell.

...But aliens? I was kind of hoping Haruhi and Nagako were just weird.

Heh, yeah that scene was golden. Probably my favorite one so far.

I skipped a bunch of episodes and watched episode 10 the other night. I didn't really care that I'd missed some plot points, since I keep hearing about inconsistency in the series (which is, apparently, on purpose). But now I'm downloading the previous episodes, catching up on what I've missed.

<3 Yuki, though. I didn't expect a decent fight scene in a comedy series at all.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
