Friend linked me to this a few minutes ago, and lo and behold a thread already here.
I didn't really feel bad for the guy when I initially watched the video. After reading the article and finding out why the dude was getting tasered, a teeny bit of sympathy wedged it's way into my heart-meat. It was clearly an abuse of power, but I kind of understand where the administration was coming from. That doesn't exactly warrant shocking a student with a taser, but maybe punching him in the nuts or something? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
