I have another question. Where are the spoiler tags?

I seriously should just unsubscribe already, this is getting annoying. Even if they're small bits, they can still give away the major parts of the story if you have that kind of knowledge.

I got him down to his last HP bar, he killed me but Mickey showed up and I managed to beat him.

Actually....

Spoiler:
I don't think Mickey can finish off any of the bosses. I had Xaldin down to practically nothing as Mickey, but no matter how many times I swung at him, he wouldn't go down. I think only Sora is elligable to actually defeat the bosses.

Another point I forgot to make about the Xaldin battle. Did anyone else find it incredibly lame when...

Spoiler:
Belle managed to get away from Xaldin's grasp just by elbowing him in the gut? This is the same inhuman who can take a ton of keyblade and magic damage, but all it took was a little girly hit to the stomach to relinquish his captive. Belle isn't Tifa, Disney.

They did reanimate the lips, at least as far as I can tell. And yes, I also noticed Pence's rather sluggish expression. :/

How much art is in that limited edition book?

I made it to
Spoiler:
The World that Never Was. Just beat Saix, and stopped after Riku joined the party.

Is this the final area? Or will you get a chance to go back to the Gummi Ship and finish the other worlds once you finish this area? I still haven't completed Pride Lands, Atlantica, or Space Paranoids.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Okay, thanks.

Also, could someone post all the steps you need to take to finish Cloud's sidequest? It was posted a bit back, but I can't find it now.

How ya doing, buddy?

Sora's face looks like it could use a little work. I want that Axel, though, and I really hope they make figures of the other Organization members, especially Xaldin (my favorite design of the group).

Well, I had to read around to see how I could even be elligable to fight Sephiroth, as he wasn't in the spot that you were supposed to meet him. I was told that perhaps I had to finish the second part of Tron's world. However, accessing his world doesn't bring up the second part at all.

All I have left is Pride Lands part 2 and the last part of Atlantica. Maybe I have to finish either or both of those before I can finish Tron (and then get to fight Seph)?

I still haven't seen the ending. I'm debating whether to work on beating Sephiroth first, getting all the journal missions done, or just beat the final boss and then work on the first two afterwards. Regardless, I do have one question that's been bugging me.

Spoiler:
What was the deal with Riku wearing a blindfold around his eyes? The only explanation we got was that "his eyes can't lie", and that he was trying to "fool himself". I don't get it at all.

Also, they never explained why

Spoiler:
Mickey and Riku wore the same outfits as the Organization.

It can't possibly be any worse than FFVII's ending. Don't answer that.

Do answer this: Do you have to beat Sephiroth in normal mode to get the secret ending? I know someone said it wasn't necessary earlier in the thread, but one guy I talked to yesterday insisted that you did have to beat him.

Also, does beating him add anything extra to the ending (extra scene, etc), not counting the secret ending?

That clears up things quite nicely, thanks.

Quote:
Spoiler:

How the hell Mickey was able to fool anyone with those big ears under the hood, I will never know... After all Pence noticed his ears even though he can't see his face under the hood.

Spoiler:
Considering how Mickey is constantly on the run, I doubt any of the other Organization members managed to get a really good look. I imagine they see a black hooded blur whiz by, shrug off and think it's one of their own.

How the hell am I supposed to get 1,000 points in Maniac Mode (Olympus)? I keep debating on whether I should give up on all these missions and just beat the last boss, then try Proud Mode so I can get the secret ending.

Not immediately after, perhaps, but the game is definetely fantastic. I wouldn't mind replaying in Proud Mode.

So I guess Seph's got to go down first. I'm at lvl 52, but he still owns me horribly. More leveling to go...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm working on it, but I'm currently struggling to get 2500 points in the Pain and Panic Paradox battle. I can only get up to 2100. I can't summon in this battle, which would've helped plenty. Any tips?

You mean Goofra? I tried using it throughout the match, but it didn't seem to net me enough orbs. What are the conditions for getting double score mode? Anything else I could try?

Even so, I couldn't figure out that

Spoiler:
Xehanort=No Heart. Clever.

Quote:
Goofra is just the second stage (the limit has levels like magic does). You want Goofga. THAT one gets you big points.
Didn't know the limit could be raised that far. How do you level limits anyway? Just use them repeatedly? Also, I wasn't sure if Wishing Lamp increased the rate of tournament orbs or not (it says it only increases the rate of HP/MP orbs).

It took a lot of effort, but I finally took down Sephiroth, at lvl 80. I'm very glad you can save after the battle so you can rewatch the following cutscene whenever you want. Watching Cloud and him rumble is always nice, but after the spectacular AC fight, this one is only mildly entertaining. But Cloud wasn't the real star in this one.

Spoiler:
Watching Tifa actually engage Sephiroth in a fight is just crazy. It definetely makes up for her no-show in the first game.

Sadly, things are left unresolved, in an obvious milking attempt for KH3.

The only question I have now is if the final boss will be far too easy at lvl 80. Perhaps I should use an earlier save first so I can have a proper challenge.

Yeah, but it's no fun if he goes down TOO fast. That's what I'm worried about.

Laziness, I imagine. It's worse in Olympus Colliseum. Hercules is battling in front of a cheering crowd, but there's not a single spectater sitting.

Now I'm working on finishing the Poster Duty minigame in under 30 seconds. According to a FAQ....from Gamefaqs, I need to learn High Jump Lv3, Air Slide Lv3, Air Dash Lv3 and Glide Lv3. Is all this really necessary? I've since been leveling up my Drives in Yensid's tower (and leveling even further as a result; I'm now at 92).

Also, how do I get access to the Hades Paradox Cup (the one with 50 matches)?

Thank God for Timeless River. The four windows made leveling Wisdom and Master Forms extremely easy. Do it right and you can cycle through all 4 windows without losing Wisdom even once.

All my forms are leveled, and everyone is 99. The only thing left to level is Summons. What causes a summon to gain experience? Is it based on each enemy they kill? What's the best spot to level summons?

Now to try and copy the manuevers in that youtube link and finish Postal Duty.

Whew, I finally beat Hades Paradox. Then I beat it again with over 20,000 orbs. One of my best triumphs in recent gaming memory.

Inhert's strategy made round 49 much easier than it deserved to be. Just glide around like mad, then use Trinity when the MP bar recharges.

Awesome battles and storyline, everything else is a non-issue.
...Isn't that all there is?

Well, I did it. All missions have finally been completed. I'm finally going to see the ending tommorow, plus the secret ending.

One precaution though. I don't have to collect every single treasure in order to "complete" the journal, right? Finishing all the worlds and missions is all I need for the secret ending, right?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
