I want to help my friend

I don't really care about illegals when it comes to job competition or taxes, as I'm a middle class white male with a solid finical background, emotionally stable family, and an undergraduate degree; so if i'm ever in a position where there's a good chance illegals will take my job then I'm the one who fucked up. And taxes are what they are, i pay them and it sucks. really sucks.

But why in the name of unholy fuck do these immigrants think this is some magical land of opportunity? Roads paved in gold?!? Nobody's believed that since 1600. Are they surprised to find that life here sucks just as bad as anywhere else? Seriously, what the hell are they expecting?
