Sweet buns and roast pork buns are my favorite. Vietnamese have some okay breads, too, and some American styles are actually quite good. If you're including cinnamon buns in the mix, though, I'd have to say the uber-sugary Cinnabons. <3 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I thought it was cha shao bao? I only ever really knew it in Cantonese, though, and had to try to get someone to tell me what it was in Mandarin. Stupid growing up around Cantonese and never learning it, then learning Mandarin.
Curry buns are pretty good, but I'd take a Pineapple Bun over it any day. The crusty ones with the tangy insides. Yum. Red bean anything is always good, too. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It's another type of Chinese bun. It has a pineapple coconut-like filling, a mostly flaky exterior, and a crusty sugary top.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
