Shirley Phelps. Holy Freaking Monkey.

That's my favorite of her interviews, but the Tyra Banks interview [start with Part 2] is actually quite good, too. To put it simply, this lady is a lunatic. One of the most psychotic people I have ever seen or heard speak. She's the spokesman for a small (under 100 members, 80% of which (that's the figure she claimed) are family members, the pastor of which is her father) 'Baptist' church (I find very little in her belief set that compares well with the Baptist take on things) in Kansas. The fact that there are another hundred people or so in her church that feel the same way boggles my mind, and sorta makes me want to either crawl into a hole and die or bomb her home. If I were taken to sweeping acts of violence. The fact that people can pursue acts of hatred under the guise of religion is an affront to my moral standards. The fact that they target military funerals and even the funerals for the slain amish girls completely baffles me. Have they no tact? Don't they realize how hypocritical they are, how unlike the teachings of the Bible that they claim to follow? Religion shouldn't be about being in people's faces telling them what they're doing wrong and that they're on the fast track to hell, at least for the most part. People like this make me sick. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Yeah, I suppose that last bit is true.
A 94 page exploration into the idea that "God Loves Everyone" is the biggest lie ever told? Ouch. What a great message to be telling the world. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
She makes a few valid points on the Tyra Banks show, but it's all bogged down under her 'religious zeal' and 'love' for fags. Which is hate.
Brady: Yeah, luckily I don't think many people will draw a straight-line parallel of Kansas is for insanely retarded and possibly possessed pseudo-Christians. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I disagree with a great deal of what she says, but she was most composed during the beginning portion of her appearance with Tyra Banks, is all I'm saying. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
