Namco announces three more "Tales of" games [update: clear large scans!!!!]

PS2 - Tales of Destiny (complete remake with full voice acting)
PSP - Tales of Phantasia (PS1 port with full voice acting)
PSP - Tales of the World (based on Narikiri Dungeon)

I'm definitely getting all three, especially Destiny, it has one of the best stories next to Phantasia.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, the scan comes from Dengeki PS2 or something like that, whoever took a picture of that deserves to die, but that said, it's good to know the information regarding the new Tales games before Namco's official website makes an announcement.

Double Post:
I'm glad it's 2D, and I'm super happy about its 2D battle system... 2D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3D anyday.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I actually prefer the old classic LBS more than the others, ToD2's battle system is innovative, but it's too annoying in the sense that not only does good spells come from extensions, but it also limits your MP, so healing outside battle is a pain the butt even with the TP reduction ring equipped...

Since this is a remake, I'm certain the battle will be at least as fast as ToD2.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hmmm... Lion now uses two swords, I guess Namco wanna be coherent so people won't question them about Judas' nitouryu in ToD2.

A new video from Namco's press conference:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDa3WseG0ow

Basically the new E-LBS is gonna be an aerial combo blast based system, it's gonna be a whole new experience for combating enemies up in the sky... the "CC" circles in the status bar show the number of aerial combos each of your characters performs... and since you can link so many different skills together, I doubt the SP system will make a return here.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

This game will own all the other RPGs that come out in the same month, it's just... too good to describe with words. Those crazy combos you can do is far beyond my expectation, and the detailed 2D backgrounds that can be drawn in win my heart instantly. With full voice acting and the original storyline, this game will sure land a bomb before the end of the PS2 era...
