I.Q. Mania, Sakura Taisen 1&2, and Tokimeki Memorial are both coming out in 2 days for the PSP. Tokimeki Memorial is the famous dating sim (as is Sakura Taisen). I like the game, but the PSP version is just a port. No extras or anything - just like Princess Crown. I have the Saturn versions of both, so there's no point in buying them. I.Q., though, I'm really looking forward to. I haven't played the original in years.
It seems like all Sega (and a lot of other companies) has been doing lately as far as PSP releases go is putting ports (and not remakes) on the system - particularly Saturn remakes. Still... I want my PSP back. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This is probably old news, but Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is being brought to the PSP this summer (JPN). Where`s the PS2 version??
Anyway, I guess having a PSP version won`t be too bad. The graphics have taken a hit, but online play has been added so that balances it out for me. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Is no one happy about Tekken 5: DR hitting the PSP? The game looks like it's shaping up pretty well. Granted, it would be better off on the PS2, but I can't wait for it! Especially, the customization mode. In the arcade (in Japan at least) you needed to pay $3 a month for a Tekken.Net subscription in order to modify your character.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Big news? Didn't you hear about Brooktown High: Senior Year. Huge. I want it, at least.
According to Gamespot, Tekken 5: DR on PSP looks pretty close to the PS2 Tekken 5, which was pretty damn good. Also, Vice City Stories was announced, if you're a GTA fan. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Maybe this is Sony trying to attract people away from the iPhone. In any case, I like how Sony is releasing all these gadgets for the PSP. A camera, speech recogniztion, planetarium software, a phone; I wonder what's next?

I'd like to get this new PSP when it's released, though I really like the original version just fine. The new D-pad will make Tekken: DR and Darkstalkers much more fun, and the video out should make playing all the PSP Metal Gear games easier. I was never a big homebrew person when I had my old PSP, but now that PS games are working well, the possibility of playing Front Mission 1-3 (and Alternative) is pretty exciting.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
