November would be a good guess for a release date. It seems like every year, Konami's been trying to come out with it as close to 19/20, November as they can get.
I hope a lot more slow/tempo changing songs are revived, to take advantage of HS5/Sudden+. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
Dang, I was beaten to it.
I've been saying Electro Tuned is due for revival the last two games, but then I figured it'd get passed up this game. So, it goes and gets revived. Please Don't Go, Kotti Wo Muiteyo, VJArmy, and Luv to Me Ucchies Edition will all be great to play again. Maybe I can pass PDG with the updated interface/better high speeds, and VJArmy will be better with sudden+ too. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Ah, did you download the full 13GB arcade version, or however big it was?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
December 14th seems to be the release date for Happy Sky. A little later than expected, but then I remember December isn't all that far off from now.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Hmm, it's getting close. I should probably order this soon.
Also, apparently Scripted Connection, which actually sounded different for each chart, will now be three whole songs, N-mix, H-mix, and A-mix, each version three charts of its own. Also, there is apparently a Love is Dreaminess another or remix or something, looks to be along the lines of Erasermotor Phantom. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
Good to hear Sayonara Heaven got confirmed, as listings as "Contemporary Nation 2" for a genre were pretty suspicious. Do you know if the supposed difficulties have been confirmed also? (I was hearing 7/11/12 on it)
EDIT - just saw a screen shot that showed 5/6/8 for that, but for doubles. Hmm. EDIT 2 - Possibly the craziest thing yet. The game has an option to move the timing earlier or later, allowing people with things like lagging HDTVs to still have the game play perfectly on time. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]()

I'm going over a friends later today, and we're gonna quickly try the game, even though neither of us actually have it yet. >_>
Man, I wasn't that excited for Happy Sky CS until I started hearing all the crazy things this one has. I also popped in RED yesterday for the first time in a couple months and remembered why that was such an improvement over the previous styles, and that got me even more excited for HS. FELIPE NO ![]() |
I am currently watching my friend play Happy Sky.
Crazy new feature: When holding start/select to quit a song, also hold the 1 and 2 keys, and the song starts over without taking you to the fail screen. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
10dan is indeed crazy. I made it through 9dan with little trouble, and now on 10dan... I've yet to get through two songs. And I fear something like Rage Against Usual or Mei or One More Lovely will pop up as the third or fourth song.
Speaking of Mei, I played it on another and got my D on it. Took two tries to actually get the D, but I got it... Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
The hardest part at first is definitely getting used to the controller. While one hand usually makes it easier to hit the keys early on, most people find playing one handed to be near impossible. A select few get the hang of it, but most people prefer two handed play. It's probably better to try and get used to two hands earlier on. And only being able to do beginner mode songs right off the bat is pretty standard. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
