The choice isn't even close. I had both as a kid, but it's obvious Lincoln Logs are only good for making houses. The most exciting thing was when you switched up the pieces on one wall to insert a window.
Legos, on the other hand, could build anything. Houses were still possible (and they evern had specific window pieces), and you could build cars, spaceships, walls, forests, boats, and other things, plus you had Lego people to play with on your creations. A good Lego creation I would leave together for weeks and play with it, whereas a good Lincoln Log creation would be fun to knock down minutes later. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
