What do you mean? Like use a pen on the thing? Or have the small area of the pad encompass the entire display?
I would imagine, however, that something like that is dependent upon the touchpad's manufacturer. How ya doing, buddy?

Well, I am sorry to report that you cannot do something like that. Touchpads are specifically designed to support relative motion, rather than have an isomorphic mapping of the pad to the screen.
Although, if you are really determined, Synaptics made it comparitvely easy to program stuff for their touchpads with info from their websites. http://www.synaptics.com/support/dev_support.cfm There's nowhere I can't reach.
