Show-offs

I tend to be that showoffy asshole. Except, I don't try to be like that. More often than not, I just point these things out with the purpose of mocking myself afterwards, or just entertaining people in what would normally be a very boring situation.
I suspect this might be slightly because when I was younger, my elders were wayyy oversupportive of me, and thus it got to my head.
For this reason, I really hate being praised or complimented for anything that I can do.

The things that I have a tendency to show off are my ability to play some short bits of blindingly fast music on the piano, and my Jeopardy-like knowledge of useless crap, especially my knowledge of the sciences.
