Puni Puni Poemi is a ridiculously inane series which has made me pause the video several times because I was laughing too much and missing dialogue (it doesn't help that the main character speaks at an insane rate). Unfortunately, it is only 2 episodes long, as far as I am aware.

Also, there is Jungle wa itsumo Hare nochi Guu

Jam it back in, in the dark.

A general anime question:
I have a friend who is obsessed with history, and also, thanks to pokemon, thinks that all anime is total shit, and not worth a few seconds of his time.
I feel it is necessary to entice him into getting his head out of his ass.

Is there any good anime out there which is basically a historical treatment or view of feudal Japan? I suspect that there is, but I cannot think of any.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I also believe that the first half of Otogizoushi is set in the Heian period, and many people don't like it because of the tons of information, but you might want to check that one out.
Thanks everyone for all the advice.
Actually, my friend is not so much into modern japanese culture at all. I think, however, that I might have piqued his interest with my description of Lone Wolf and Cub. Now, I think I'll let that fester a bit, and then provide the manga.
Do you know where I might find scans of Vagabod? I cannot find it on Boxtorrents, and I don't know where else to look.
Thanks again.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
