We won't know that until after the fact, now, won't we?
I am sure there was a large quantity of the population who were totally against the emancipation proclamation. There were also a great deal of people who despised the way in which FDR dealt with many problems, and actually, that hasn't changed much. People still criticize him. But the overall view is that he did well. Kennedy... well... I'm not sure exactly what he did aside from being known for pushing civil rights a bit. I'm not prepared to have an extensive debate on the topic. I just think that calling Bush a crook right now is premature legacy fabrication and pointless mudslinging. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
