I have been in a couple, one was my fault, the other was not.
First accident, this was about 3 months after I got my liscence, I was on my lunch break at work, at a Sonic. I order a big ass drink, and my car had no cupholder, so I found a small hole to cradle it in, and went to leave. As I pulled out, I accelerated forward, when my drink spilled over into my lap, it startled me, and I swerved a small bit, and hit the back of another car.
Though I was only going about 10 mph, it caused a bit of damage to their rear bumper, but we decided to not go through my insurance, and I paid them $800 outright to repair it. That put a hole in my pocket like nothing else.
The second time, I was driving home from work on the left hand lane of a three lane road. There is a big truck to my left, and I am driving past it. Next thing I know, the truck begins shifting into my lane right into my side, crushing my driver side door and front fender, but I got a nice $1300 insurance damage settlement.
So already two accidents in my time driving.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
