I can be your subwoofer - my little Cambridge Soundworks computer sub on the floor can't handle high volumes as it will sound distorted and seem like it's breaking up.
My car sub will only do that if the gain is > 90%. Grounding and power adjustment is very important but the head unit is also important. Try balance all equalisers and turn off bass boost for a starter. Do you have the alternater whine when driving around? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
