Hey Tommy,
I was in attendance at the 2nd Edmonton concert you guys held last night. Absolutely. SPECTACULAR. I don't think there was a single person in the building who left unenthused or unentertained in the slightest amount after the event. I was so pumped afterwards, I felt like running a marathon! Seriously, though, you should be very proud of the type of event you've helped put together. It's often been a belief of mine that video games as a whole never seem to receive the crediblity or legitimacy that they deserve, as I'm sure you're all-too-aware of, so to see an event like Video Games Live present the industry in such a positive and tasteful manner is more than appreciated on my part, so thank you very much for that. By the way, are you *actually* planning on coming back next year, as you said at the end of the performance? If the "buzz" that was present after the concert is any indication, you can bet you'll have a guaranteed sellout the next time you're here - and the sooner, the better! Hell, I'll go BOTH nights - how's that for a deal? ![]() I wish I could have told you this in person, but unfortunately I had to run immediately after the concert, so I didn't get the chance to go to the meet-and-greet. You've got yourself a new fan, Mr. Tallarico. And tell Jack Wall he's pretty cool, too. -Mike P.S. What type of reaction do you receive from the musicians after they've performed everything? There was this one symphony member who seemed to be just all smiles during the performance, which made me a bit curious. Oh yeah, and my friend was fascinated with the guitar you used during the Halo 3 piece. He said that he had never seen a "tuner-free" (I think) guitar like that before, so he wanted me to ask you what type/make it was. Damn, even the instruments were getting love that night! Jam it back in, in the dark.
