Yeah, that dino rampage should never have happened in the first place.
It was just WETA going 'we can do Jurassic Park too, kekeke ^__^' And also, I think the movie really could have done WITHOUT the attempts at character development of the ship's crew. It didn't really have any immediate impact on what the main characters did, so only really made the story a bit longer. And yes, I thought the movie dragged on a bit. They could have shortened it by like half an hour or something. Jam it back in, in the dark.
