Thermal Transfer Compound

I live in the area of Portland, OR and I need some Thermal Grease. It's not hard to find online, but why should I pay $10 in shipping when a tube of AS5 costs less than the shipping would?

So, I'm asking if anyone can help me find somewhere in my area where I can just go buy it in a store. Best Buy, CompUSA, and Circuit City don't have it stocked. If anybody can help me find another store somewhere around here, I'd appreciate it.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've explored that route some. My problem is that I want to be sure a place has it in stock before I go there. I don't expect to spend more than $10, so driving around town to 3 or 4 different places in order to find out if they've got it or not is a lot more trouble than it's worth. Know what I mean?

If it wasn't so inexpensive, shopping around wouldn't matter so much. I'd just rather not spend more money on gas than on the grease itself.

---EDIT---
Radioshack... good call. That's real close. Close enough that it won't matter if they haven't got it... In which case I will be re-posting afterwards.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Calling was a great idea. I called the two closest Radio Shack locations and neither of them had what I was looking for. However, the second one referred me to a small, independent shop. They had AS5.

Thanks for your help, guys.

I might have found a place to shop for a new Power Supply when the time comes.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

All the places I was considering except Fry's are less than a mile from my apartment... Including the one where I actually went.

I got it for $9.99 which isn't too bad. The cheapest I found online was $3.49 with a $9.99 S/H fee. The most expensive was around $15 not including shipping...

I think I came out ahead.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
