So long as your debit card is tied to the Visa or Mastercard systems, you'll be able to use it the exact same way as a credit card.

I've never tried it with CDJapan, but there's absolutely no reason why they should turn one down, since debit purchases are exactly the same as credit purchases from their perspective.
