The Visiontek card is built around the same ATI-made chipset as the ATI-brand card. They'll have the same performance and I don't think that you'll run into any reliability problems with it.

However, if you're in the market for a high-end AGP card, I think that the GeForce 7800GS is a better choice. It's about the same speed as the X850 XT PE, but has a better feature set, a smaller and (probably) quieter cooler, and it's a bit cheaper. Plus, you can actually buy cards with it. ^^
