Brian May (Queen guitarist and song writer) did the music for the abysmal "Rise of the Robots".
As it seems in Japan and the prog-rock scene Motoi Sakuraba is still generally better known as keyboard player and composer for Deja-Vu as that band was part of the Japanese prog-rock landscape at its peak of popularity and activity (mid to end 1980s). In general there are plenty Japanese musicians who did both compose vgm and participate in alternate music band, but they are mostly not as recognisable. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
