I used to think donating my old clothes to big brother and stuff was cool, until I found out that they sell them! That's right, they take your designer clothes you don't wear anymore and then sell them again, rediculous, I thought I was giving it away to a good cause and that someone will get a nice pair of guess jeans for free or something.
Yeah so I stopped doing that, nowadays I usually just walk around downtown during my lunch at work or w/e.. And I'll notice a homeless guy or something, if he's usually there when I'm on my lunch, I'll just drop off my bag of jeans to him and know that it went directly to a good cause.
If he sells them, well at least he has some money coming in, what he uses it for? I don't care that's his life, what I offered him was the ability to clothe himself.
Im just saying, I find it kinda wrong that a company takes items for free and then charges someoen who can't afford it, money to wear something that someone didn't need in the first place... IMO that's wrong, and if any fortune 500 company did that, wouldn't we call that a scandle?
D.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
