1) Isn't that how every FPS on the Wii works? You move the cursor to the side and your character turns? It's better in Far Cry because you can stop the screen from moving by holding A (something the other FPSs haven't done, as far as I know).

3) Couldn't you just quickly hold down A and then slash to stop the screen from going down?
It's not better at all. It still fills terrible and suffers from the same problems Red Steel does. Apparently Metroid has found the perfect middle-ground, which is good because right now FPSs on the Wii need help. He's right in that the controls feel clunky, and holding down the A button does nothing to solve it.

No because it still wouldn't register a slice. It would just move the cursor. Either way it's irrelevant since it shouldn't happen. The controls should just work, simple as that. And in the case of Far Cry and Red Steel, they don't.

Beyond that, the game is fucking ugly as hell. Anyone who had hopes for this game was just being silly. It looked terrible from the get-go, and surprise, it turned out terrible. I mean, this is what, the fifth version of the PC game? It can only be ported around so much. The Wii needs a game built for it with obviously a lot of time put into the controls. Launch titles didn't do either.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm considering Excite Truck, Red Steel, or Super Monkey Ball. Opinions? Thoughts? Suggestions? Other games possibly?
Trauma Centre, Zelda, and Rayman are the only games worth getting in my opinion. I had fun with Super Monkey Ball for a good thirty minutes and haven't touched it since.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Not exactly true. It seems to be only some are doing that, since you can still find them on sale in other BestBuy's and whatnot.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, at least they've picked up both Kororinpa and Wing Island to be released in February and March~
Apparently Wing Island is simply terrible.

Anywho, about the delays... I highly doubt it. They need AAA titles to carry them into spring, and especially something huge for the end of their fiscal year (march is the new november lol.) Chances are that will be Metroid. Or Smash. Whatever, both are super.

How ya doing, buddy?

Well, if they can't release anything in that time they COULD try to release some games utilising the Mii characters. Something quick and simple, but great for multiplaying frenzy.

I don't think simple Mii games are enough...

I was speaking idiomatically.

Maybe not "simple" Mii games, but things like Mario Party and any Mario sports property are fair game for stuff to fill the gaps.
Mario spin-offs fill the gaps between AAA titles. For example you'd seen one pop up between Metroid and Mario Galaxy. They don't carry a console through possible post-launch drought. Either way, it looks like Metroid is still on track and Mario will follow at the appropriate time. So no worries.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Depends how good they are, everyone called Smash Bros a spinoff fill-in title. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Mario Smash Football uses the Wii controls, considering the basic game has already been made the controls are what they would be spending the most time working on now.
Smash is an AAA title now. Yeah, it can be considered a spin-off, but it's proven itself as a series. The sports and party games have not. The party games have been getting progressively worse, while the sports games hover around average to decent.

Mario Kart is actually a pretty successful series for a sports game that's "average to decent".
Oh yeah... Mario Kart. Hopefully MKWii is better than DD!

Meh, I haven't played a Mario Party game since 4 so I dunno about that. But from what I've heard, each one has been adding new stuff to the formula for distinctly different play.
Yeah, you'd think that would make for a better game. Turns out, not so much.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
