Once again, you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.
The law is the law, and it comes down to a distinct note that has to be interpreted. Annnnnd you know nobody, especially in Texas, will try and interpret anything according to the books. But I don't blame them. There no way to be in that trailer the night of the killing. But most people will say it'd been better if he'd just gone in shooting instead of trying to subdue them, THEN kill them. Or he could've held them up, and called the cops. Lord knows they would've just gotten a slap on the wrist. But who's to say that the kid wasn't just trying to make a bolt for the door? Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
