I never used to mind going to the dentist until I had to have 6 baby teeth out, and I was put under anaesthetic. Weirdiest feeling ever. In fact, I haven't had 'the gas' since.
Usually now, my trips are to the orthodontist, as I've had braces for the past year or so. I'm at the stage where I have to wear a removable brace, so the trips to the orthodontist are usually pretty short. Still get nervous though. Jam it back in, in the dark.
