One time, I thought it was a good idea to partition my hard drive without backing it up. I just read a review from PCWorld and thought "oh this article from says PartitionMagic is very reliable in terms of dividing your hard drive, that's what I just need!". 40 minutes later, I lost all my files.

Or is this thread only limited to topics with "walking" and "driving" in it?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
