Guys, I'm out of town, I don't have my metal music with me, and I'm craving for some great metal right now. Do any of you know of a good METAL streaming site.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I just found Warrior Radio on Live365. They play most of the stuff I listen to, it's pretty neat! Thanks, rubberguy!

I think they're a lot better than Cruachan in terms of metal/celtic music fusion.

I have to get the new Drudkh then.

Just discovered Hardingrock, a folk-metal project by Ihsahn. It's a fresh taste of folk/metal fusion filled with chants, fiddles, percussion, riffs, and the like. I'm liking it.

Hm, I just realized that if you listen to the new Ensiferum and compare it with the old Ensiferm line-up, it's not that good. But if you compare the music of the current Ensiferum's lineup against their Norther sound... they kind of sound better. Right?

I have the flu, so what I said might not make sense.

Fuck you guys and your live metal shows... all we get here are MTV pop groups, boybands, and emogay rockstars. We have local metal bands though, but they only play boring generic death metal songs.

Yeah, everyone knows that. Did you know that Gamma Ray's new album is out on the internet?

I wonder if there's any buddhist black metal bands out there. Or metal bands branching out of the usual christian/anti-christian/pagan/semetic themes. I know Japan has bands that incorporate metal with Japanese folklore/mythology.

I wanna go to Paris. Now. Seriously, I think I'm the only person in this country who listens to pagan/folk metal.

Hm..why do female-fronted goth bands (usually) have hot women? For a wider audience accessibility? Or just fap factor for metal nerds?

I think both. I'm trying Epica just for shits, and the latest one from Astarte (who, according to the internet, now plays a melodic death metal with a hint of black metal).

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Hey guys, I found another great Russian pagan metal band! I liking it a lot and been listening to it since I downloaded it last night. Nevid' was formed by members of Butterfly Temple, so they kinda sound like Butterfly Temple, Arkona, and maybe Alkonost (but not that folky).

It's great man!

And that new Moonsorrow EP was pretty badass too. They managed to make For Whom The Bell Tolls sound completely like their own song.
Oh yeah! No shit! I was actually smiling while listening to that song, very badass how they made it!

I heard The Varangian Way has better production value than Battle Metal, which means better sound quality/mixin/stuff. Though it's a great album, I still feel Battle Metal to be a bit closer to my liking.

Man, I can't believe I wasn't enjoying IMMORTAL all these years!! Better late than never. I still can't believe I never listened to their stuff before. I mean, I'm not a big black metal fan. Some are good, some I find monotonous. And the thing that puts me off is the bad production, the sound just sounds bad. But man, am I loving Immortal right now. Can you guys recommend similar bands I should listen to?

I think I'm entering a black metal phase right now.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
