I have some Rush albums... I haven't listened to them yet. Maybe I should start listening to them now. The songs on my HD are all starting to sound old, so I'm out here on the internet looking for ne stuff (again).

I'm waiting for niki to tell me what band to listen to.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Heh, yeah I know. I haven't listened to Rush yet so I don't know (but Lent warned me that it's too progressive rock that I won't like it), and downloaded that 2006 Amon Amarth album. Can't say I like it, can't say I hate it. It kind lacked the "ooomph" factor, if you know what I mean.

Moi dix Mois? Isn't that a Japanese band? Do they sound like Dir en Grey?

Why won't great bands visit the Philippines. Why do we always get the shitty bands. (e.g. Limp Bizkit and pals).

I was speaking idiomatically.

I just download these albums:

Empyrium - Songs of Moors and Misty Fields
Equilibrium - Turis Fratyr
Ultima Thule - Yggdrasil (I'm surprised this one isn't in metal-archives yet, they're somewhat folk rock)

So far I gave Empyrium and Equilibrium a listen, and I'm liking it.

French hates Germans.

I bet you like Aes Dana. And I don't really like Anaal Nathrakh, I thought they're a good black metal band? Or was I mis-informed.

Finntroll and Wintersun releasing new albums next year too!

Ah, curse you niki for exposing me to this type of music!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

At least you still get to watch/see shitloads of awesome metal acts. I don't.

Apparently, we get the shitty MTV bands. I can't remember a single metal band that toured here. And most people in here are into emo/core "metal" acts. So I'm not surprised if Avenged Sevenfold will tour here, I mean Limp Bizkit did, and most people in here consider them metal.

Also, any of you have a Nomans Land's "Sea Battlefield" track? Mine seems to be broken (it's from their Raven Flight album).

Can anyone upload these tracks; Noman's Land's "Sea Battlefield" and Moonsorrow's "Pakanajuhla" since my copies are broken.

What specifically are you interested in? I'd be glad to share out of my collection.
Somwhere along the lines of viking/pagan/folk metal. (I usually ask niki or morrigan for names, whenever I can.)

I have Amon Amarth. No offense, but I'm not really impressed by their music. Their cool, ok I guess, but it lacks in "oomph!" factor, if you know what I mean.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It sounds and feels like Ensiferum, but yeah, like an uninspired Ensiferum.
Even the intro song doesn't sound very Ensiferum (as compared to the previous albums). I have to agree with niki, even though it's nice to listen to, it kinda lacks something.

It's like soup with no salt. It's still soup, but not really soup.

lol. I was lolling while reading the booklet actually, but it's still a pretty decent album. Some parts are boring though.

So, Finntroll's new album is on the internet. Haven't listened(downloaded) to it yet. Your thoughts?
