I wear both more often here in this country. I usually wear them with socks though, which tends to get me odd looks. I'm pretty sure having your feet free that way can keep your body cooler... Something about your feet and head (bald people have it best) retaining heat. And your pubes, which you're more than welcome to trim down.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I don't know, I always thought that wearing sandals is one way to prevent smelly feet, because you never keep any sweat to begin with.
Putting lotion on my feet after getting out of the shower and before putting socks on eliminated foot sweat for me. I'm not sure how but it worked. Even did a leg workout today and my feet stayed dry.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Hmm, what type of lotion would be good do you think? That sound like an interesting idea. I'll try that sometimes. I hate fighting with my walking shoes because it really smells bad. :<
BAM.

Well, I can't guarantee anything but this is what I use on my feet and it works well. Also make sure your shoes aren't tight as hell or tied too tight. Not sure why it worked for me and I'm sure the type of lotion doesn't really matter. Now, if that doesn't work but you'd still rather not have your feet stink then try and only wear the damned things when you need to. When you're at school, on the street, doing something physical, etc. Try and wear sandals or whatever to give the damned things some ventilation. Or just walk around barefoot if you have carpet. Just figure something out so that your feet aren't trapped all day long. And I hope you're already changing your socks daily. Just be careful, next thing you know you could have some sort of athelet's foot or toenail fungus. NICE.

If all else fails wear two or three pairs of socks so that the sweat doesn't reach the shoe material which causes the foul smell.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I wonder: Is it generally considered low class when you wear socks with your sandals or flip flops?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah, like me. I guess I've just never liked having my feet exposed like that. Unless I'm at my house. Then I'd just walk barefoot.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well, at least that's some consolation for me. Not that I needed any but it does seem to be a popular view in this country and also the States. Probably this entire hemisphere.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Yeah, same thing here. It's a ton cooler just being in socks. Not even the most lightweight/breathable shoes can beat that.

Man mush, such strong words toward that particular segment of the flipflop community.

Those fitfops sounds pretty cool. They're like strength shoes, but in sandal form.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
