That reminds me...I just got my 360 not even two weeks ago and in the box I noticed MS had an offer for some extended warranty.
Is that even worth it? I heard somewhere that MS will fix RRODs up to two years from time of purchase, as long as your 'box isn't modded or anything. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

I checked it again, and apparently it's called a "Service Contract".
Details are here. But then I dug around on xbox.com and found that MS will service any RRODs for up to 3 years from purchase. Strange. I guess it's for the times when you want to send your console in for a small hiccup like a lost save file? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
