Please enlighten us, what did they cut out of the game?

That's lame.
At least they're not pulling a Fable on us and giving us merely the wrapping to the chocolate that we were promised. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
For anyone interested:
Gamespot is apparently hosting a marathon play session of Oblivion with a live feed (for Complete members only, fags) starting this Monday at 6pm and ending Tuesday morning 6am. Might as well wait a day or two and experience it first hand IMO. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
All this upgrade talk makes me want to kick myself in the face for buying an AGP-only mobo.
Why didn't they tell me PCI-e was gonna be the norm in a year?! ![]() Also: If anyone wants to save a few bucks, Amazon.com has the PC Collector's Edition on "sale" for $54.99. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Gech, I had the same problem with Farcry on the PC. My workaround was networking my laptop to my PC, sharing the laptop's DVD drive, and running the game off of that. It was whacky.
I'm waiting to get the CE right now, Amazon.com hasn't even emailed me a shipping confirmation yet. But I don't mind, I got it for $55 w/ free 2-day shipping. I should have it no later than Friday. I was speaking idiomatically. |

I found some pretty slick mods that you level scale haters might like:
Monster Random Level Mod Level Scaling Cap The second mod purportedly stops monsters from scaling as fast as you do levelwise. Also, it's supposed to cap NPCs' and weaker monsters' levels at a certain point. The first mod, as the name implies, generates a random level for all monsters in the game. So basically it makes it more like a traditional RPG in the sense that the higher level you have, the more monsters you can strike down. I'm a little weary to use that one though since it might make some quests too difficult. FELIPE NO |
Hey check it out!
Bethesda is gonna charge PC users for downloadable content, akin to how it's done on Xbox Live! GREAT THINKING GUYS! You'll laugh at what they're offering. No, really...
