The 6 meg speed is the standard speed now and 4 meg is hardly used anymore (depends on the market region) one of the best promotions I have seen on our database is the first 6 months for 19.99 a month with a free self install kit, but the kit will only work if you have cable TV, so if you plan to order one, make sure you have a active cable TV account first to avoid problems with the agent. the price afterwards is 42.95 with 3.00 extra if you plan to lease the modem. the 8meg service is 10 bucks extra but there are promotions that allow you to get it for cheaper is you are a existing customer who wishes to upgrade.
