This question is actually applies to me. My family is Christian and I became a Pagan when I was 14 (even though I was most likely a Pagan since I was small and did not realize it at the time)
My father did not care really at all, he actually does not like going to church and goes just to keep mom happy, he questions the bible and religion itself more than I do.
My mother flipped when I put my foot down and refused to go to church. A few years later she would only nod when I told her I am Pagan and explained to her what it is, she would then go into the whole christian speech 'who put you on this planet' and crap. When Yule came my mother would say things like 'I guess you don't celebrate christmas so I guess you would be getting any presents' I then explained to her that Yule is the original xmas and 90% of the traditions that take place on it came from Yule... she just denied it.
I asked her why to we have a tree indoors and have holly and mistletoe. She had no clue.
